At Du Vin Crush, we love working with wineries in the Paso Robles area. It has quickly become one of our favorite wine regions in California. For those of you that have not been to Paso lately, you will find that the city is growing with so many new and exciting “wine and food” areas. Some examples of this growth are:
- Rezoning of areas near the park in downtown – By rezoning a section of blocks between 13th and 15th Streets, and Spring Street and the Union Pacific Railroad, the city has made wine, spirits and beer production permissible for a significant portion of the downtown district—a first for Paso Robles.
- Paso Market Walk is a new public market that is similar to Oxbow Public Market in Napa, Calif., which will include, retail, food and local wines.
- In southeast Paso Robles, a cluster of wineries have moved into an industrial zone in the 3300 block of Ramada Drive. This area is close to the Tin City complex—which is a fun area to explore on foot and offers wine tasting, beer, and cider producers. The Ramada Drive area will be similar to that model.
As you can see, if you haven’t been to Paso Robles lately it’s time to visit! What are you waiting for?
