In our time spent in Paso Robles, it is clear that this town is full of charm and is the perfect place to get away with your significant other. With that in mind – here are some of the top romantic outings in Paso Robles:
Enjoy a Romantic Dinner
Paso is home to so many great restaurants that it is sometimes hard to choose. Two of our favorites for a romantic dinner are Buena Tavola and Il Cortile Ristorante. Both of these restaurants provide a wonderful ambiance and amazing food. You can’t go wrong!
Wine Tasting with a View
There are so many options for wine tasting in Paso Robles but if you are looking for a truly romantic setting you might want to try Law Estate and Halter Ranch. Both of these tasting rooms offer beautiful settings and a truly romantic atmosphere for tasting wine.
Attend a Concert in the Park
During the summer, downtown Paso Robles features concerts in the park on Thursday nights. The concerts run from June 6-August 15 (except for July 4 and July 25). This is a great chance to pack a picnic, grab a bottle of wine and enjoy some live music on a nice summer evening. You can pick up food from the Red Scooter Deli and then dessert from the Brown Butter Cookie Company – one of the best cookies I have ever tasted!
Discover Up and Coming Wines
Tin City is funky industrial park that is home to some of the newest wineries in Paso Robles. All of the wineries in this area are within walking distance of each other so it is fun to explore. Many times, you will find that the winery owner and winemaker will be pouring wine in the tasting room. This is a fun area to explore and some of our favorites in Tin City include ONX, Field Recordings and Jacob Toft.
Head Towards the Coast
You can take a romantic drive to the coast and take in the beauty of the coastal towns. Pismo Beach and Cayucos are both fun coastal towns that are less than 45 minutes from Paso Robles. You can also head north to explore San Simeon and the famous Hearst Castle. If you choose to take Highway 46 back towards Paso, you can stop at some of the great wineries to end the day.
